Learn how to cultivate awareness of your soul powers

The Healing Essence Total Life Cleanse helps cultivate an awareness of our soul powers by eliminating the dietary, lifestyle, and mental/emotional obstacles that interfere.

Because we are spirit soul, our position is anandamaya.

Anandamaya means always blissful. Because we are part-and-parcel of God…

God is blissful, all-good, sat-chit-ananda…

Sat means eternal, chit means full of knowledge, and ananda means full of bliss

Three essential qualities of the soul

In Ayurveda, the soul has three essential qualities. They can also be thought of as soul powers.

These soul powers tend to be obscured, to varying degrees, by the three qualities of nature, the eight elements, and the five koshas. The experience, realization, and expression of our soul qualities are the intentions of yoga and Ayurveda, and necessary for real health.

These three essential qualities of the soul are:

Sat

The eternal or ever-present quality of the soul. Its power gives us the capacity to be fully present. It is the source of our essential life energy.

Chit

The fully conscious and aware quality of the soul. Its power gives us the capacity for knowledge, awareness, and wisdom. It is pure light energy.

Ananda

The fully blissful quality of the soul. Its power gives us the capacity to love and experience pure joy. It is pure love energy.

Whenever we are very present and in the moment, the soul quality of sat is present. Whenever we are in contact with our deepest wisdom, the soul quality of chit is present. Whenever we are in contact with love and pure joy, the soul quality of ananda is present.

The quality of sat (presence) is the foundation of chit and ananda. In other words, being present allows for the qualities of wisdom and bliss to emerge. Therefore, as the Vedas explain, our soul, or atma, is eternal, full of knowledge, and full of bliss. Our power to be present, to know, and to feel joy and love comes directly from our soul.

Human beings have the unique capacity to fully realize these qualities and ourselves as eternal souls—part and parcel of God.

Cultivating awareness of our soul powers

The Healing Essence Total Life Cleanse helps cultivate an awareness of our soul qualities by eliminating the dietary, lifestyle, and mental/emotional obstacles that interfere.

Soul qualities, hidden as they may be, exist equally in all beings. Manifestation of the soul qualities is dependent on our ability to fulfill our divine and earthly dharma while we also cultivate an inner identification with them.

Soul realization, however, is eclipsed by the degree to which we identify with the denser qualities of the eight elements and five koshas. Over-identification with the elements and koshas is due to false ego. Our false ego keeps us acutely interested in the material side of life but averse to our soul. The Vedas explain that this conditioning comes from the influence of the three qualities or modes of material nature.

Cleansing can minimize the influence of material nature and elevate our ability to know and express our deepest soul essence. Learn how at our Winter Total Life Cleanse,  starting January 23, 2018. It is our first ever virtual program, which means everyone from everywhere can participate.

You’ll learn about the three essential powers of the soul, how to cultivate awareness of your soul powers, and other lifestyle and dietary practices that promote healing in your body, mind, and soul.
